On May 26th of 2023 I received my high school diploma from the Dallastown Area School District after meeting the graduation requirements.
In September of 2022 I entered the website development FBLA competition at a regional level. I designed and created a website for a fictional company named Books Over Coffee which was a library mixed with a coffee shop. After submitting that I got invited to the state conference held at the Hershey Lodge. There I presented a separate website named Developer Hub, which essentially is where programmers could post questions and other more experienced programmers could offer their assistance. Despite building the website in 3 days, compared to ~7 months other competitors had, I won 8th place which wasn't enough to go to nationals. But it was still an accomplishment for me nonetheless.
I assisted students with design, coding, and other website development related questions. I also supplied lesson materials and ideas at the teacher's discretion and direction. And while I wasn't assisting a student or the teacher I was continuing to build upon my current knowledge by working on side projects.
I developed an understanding of how computers work and are built. Additionally, I assisted in installing CCTV systems for businesses. Also repaired and restored customer's electronics, such as phones, laptops, and desktops. In addition to that, I also helped diagnose and repair network complications.
